GET READY TO BE DISAPPOINTED – SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FOLD5 AND Z FLIP5 CAMERA SPECS ARE HERE

Samsung had a comfortable position in the segment of foldable smartphones. However, we are starting to see more competition. The brand left its devices in a stagnant position when it comes to implementing the most cutting-edge hardware. The foldable had its upgrades, but the essence is still the same. We don’t see the same level of “hardware push” in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold or Z Flip series as we see in the Galaxy S23 series. Of course, we can’t compare regular phones and foldable in a direct form. The Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 will improve in some aspects, but apparently, the camera will not bring any ground-breaking change.

The competition is there with better designs for the hinge. The rumors Samsung will catch up this year with the Galaxy Z Fold5. However, we should not see big changes in the camera hardware. Apparently, Samsung thinks that there is no need for super advanced cameras foldable. Today, the first details about the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 cameras are here. There are some changes, but there is also some disappointing news.

The new info comes from tipster Yogesh Brar. According to him, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 will not bring changes in the camera department. The phone will bring the same 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultrawide, and 10 MP telephoto cameras as the Z Fold4. Meanwhile, the Z Flip5 will also keep the same dual 12 MP cameras with wide and ultrawide lenses. The brand is keeping a very conservative view when it comes to the hardware.

The only “good” part of this news, is that the phones will have newer camera sensors. That probably means an upgrade in the quality of the image. After all, new camera sensors will likely improve over the older ones. We don’t have details about these camera sensors, but we expect more leaks to appear in the coming months.

The two phones are rumored to bring bigger outer displays to catch up with the competition. As previously mentioned, the hinge design will also be greatly improved. Under the hood, the duo of foldable will retain the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. By the time of their release, Qualcomm will probably have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2, but we don’t think there will be much difference. We can expect the new Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 to make their appearance in August. Of course, the leaks will serve us with more details ahead of their launch.
